Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order a pattern right now?

Not yet. PetPatchery is still in development and we are not taking customer orders yet.

What kind of quilts is this for?

PetPatchery is being built around foundation paper piecing (FPP), a quilting method that uses printed foundations to guide the sewing order and shape placement.

Will the patterns be custom?

Yes, that is the goal. The long-term vision is for quilters to submit a pet photo and receive a personalized pattern based on that pet.

Why are you taking your time?

Because a nice-looking design is not enough. The pattern also needs to be printable, understandable, and sewable.
